The Social Portrait: Deadline June 15, 2013

PoetsArtists will be publishing an issue dedicated to the “Social Portrait”. How we see ourselves in Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter. Your job is to create portraits of your “social” friends and/or a self-portrait portrayed as your “social” self.

Poets should send up to 3 new poems depicting this theme.

Visual artists (painters, photographers, wordsmiths) should send up to 3 new works depicting this theme.

This issue will be available via as an interactive issue via the iPad and there will also be a static digital version available. Depending on how many works are received we may have a print option also available.

If accepted for publication you will be asked for other materials such as bios, audio, video and/or copy (artist statements and such).

Email to send submissions to is didimenendez at gmail.com. Place on subject line SOCIAL MEDIA SUBMISSION. I will only email back if work is accepted and will ask for further materials then.
